In her mind, she hears this music - that’s hallucination If she can’t stop the shakes she’ll make us get out the restraints George made a mistake when he tried to quit cold turkey And the Jacksons knew just exactly where to place the blame Cannot fight boogie blight Only way to treat, keep them on their feet So sustain the groove ’til their health improves They’ll be dancing their disease away It’s 1518 and there’s a funky kind of flu in Strasbourg If it can’t be contained we’ll be moving ’til we drop down dead We’ve got to draw out all the jive If they have a hope to survive No breaks, no time to take five I’m pretty sure it’s safe to say A curse and the cure are the same Turn up to eleven let’s play Cannot fight boogie blight Only way to treat, keep them on their feet So sustain the groove ’til their health improves They’ll be dancing their disease away How we were to know disco helped to spread night fever (All our sources say that disco was dead) Time to divert all flights to funky town (Contact your airline for compensation) We need a jitterbug jab, won’t somebody please think of the children (Won't somebody please think of the youth) Kids, you can floss your teeth but you gotta keep your limbs bound up Cannot fight boogie blight Only way to treat, keep them on their feet So sustain the groove ’til their health improves They’ll be dancing their disease away

You were the one I worked hardest on Spent time and money on you but now you're gone We were a 9 out of 10 coming through Standing by for 2 for 1 zen in the queue Punched a hole through my heart, can't find a picture of you Give me some credit where credit is due Don't try to tell me I can start up anew You kept me grounded, grounded it's true You kept me grounded, roasted me then picked me up I'd come around every day, you keep me regular I just need to expresso myself You give me palpitations, you're bad for my health I'm caught out because I left you at home on the shelf Give me some credit where credit is due Don't try to tell me I can start up anew You kept me grounded, grounded it's true You were the one I worked hardest on Spent time and money on you but now you're gone We were a 9 out of 10 coming through Standing by for 2 for 1 zen in the queue Punched a hole through my heart, can't find a picture of you Give me credit, you know that it's due, yeah Give me credit, you know that it's true, yeah Give me credit, that's what it's all about Give me credit, you know that it's due

Expressing 05:04
When you step on the scene I get a hit of dopamine That positive feedback loop Leaves me in hot pursuit You and me babe, just Eukarya Your voice on the phone I’m tongue-tied with testosterone Out of my mind and serotonin I wanna fill you with oxytocin, vasopressin I’ll get you expressing Horizontal tango times Told me you had to be mine You were a net income To my parental investment fund I was not out looking for love You give me chills I’m glad I brought some gloves With just one whiff I lost immunity Your T cells were so complimentary You and me babe, just Eukarya Your voice on the phone I’m tongue-tied with testosterone Out of my mind and serotonin I wanna fill you with oxytocin, vasopressin I’ll get you expressing Your voice on the phone, I’m tongue-tied with testosterone Out of my mind and serotonin You came out top trumps In my biological partner sums Resources in plenty With attractive ancestry I wanna fill you with oxytocin, vasopressin I’ll get you expressing

Find The One 04:13
I knew it When you walked into the room That I blew it I could not groove to this tune I need to Find a romance my heart beats for I won’t mislead you No, I won’t sit out anymore Please show me to it I don’t know what my cue is I’ll keep turning the beat around ’til I find The one who is keeping me by the sides I know when we meet we will be aligned When we come to repeat You can’t steal it From one of the corps de ballet I feel it The clock ticks my time away Animal affairs Two by two is how we’re meant to be Someone is out there To make this square to the power of three Please show me to it I don’t know what my cue is I’ll keep turning the beat around ’til I find The one who is keeping me by the sides I know when we meet we will be aligned When we come to repeat I’ll keep turning the beat around ’til I find The one who is keeping me by the sides I know when we meet we will be aligned When we come to repeat I won’t be behind Keep turning the beat around ’til I find The one who is keeping me by the sides I know when we meet we will be aligned When we come to repeat

That message that you didn’t rewrite After you were late to bed the last night With all of this access We can brighten your aspects now House special chow mein and chicken satay When you’d done only fifty steps that day With all of this access We can reduce your excess We are here for you when you want to share When you think no one could possibly care All we want from you: please don’t spare no detail Your inside voice is now up for sale Booked with your hygienist for two thirty After you searched for the ‘symptoms of scurvy With all of this access We have our best assets now Comfort fit clothes with no polyester You must be in your second trimester With all of this access We’ll pick out the perfect sundress We are here for you when you want to share When you think no one could possibly care All we want from you: please don’t spare no detail Your inside voice is now up for sale With all of this access We’ll pick out the perfect sundress We are here for you when you want to share When you think no one could possibly care All we want from you: please don’t spare no detail Your inside voice is now up for sale

Order that you can take it back For this one thing, I can give no slack An unnatural synthesis, A flatbread fave with a tragic twist Aloha Oh no no no Pick off the pieces, Save our pizzas Now I could kill a calzone I’m even known to make stromboli at home It’s clear this isn’t a flash in the pan C’mon Reykjavik and roll out the ban Aloha Oh no no no Pick off the pieces, Save our pizzas Thinly sliced or chunky as heck, Either is a sure-fire way to wreck, A classic Neopolitan, no need to put it in Panopoulos is dead - did you not get the bulletin? Aloha Oh no no no Pick off the pieces, Save our pizzas

Turn You On 04:22
You're always under my thumb You go with me everywhere But you cannot sustain By me just being there All we need is some extra juice It will see us through I guarantee I didn’t take good advice Little and often is key I was the one who burnt you out Tell me why I cannot turn you on I’ve lost the link that first got you to respond There’s no use trying to force a fit that’s wrong How could I neglect to reconnect? I gave in to my forbidden fruit And I would never go back But all my friends are robots They can’t replace what we lack I was the one who burnt you out Tell me why I cannot turn you on I’ve lost the link that first got you to respond There’s no use trying to force a fit that’s wrong How could I neglect to reconnect? Tell me why I cannot turn you on I’ve lost the link that first got you to respond There’s no use trying to force a fit that’s wrong How could I neglect to reconnect?

about

Crouton Cannon’s debut album “Soup Sessions” boasts songs about losing a coffee loyalty card, forgetting your phone charger and targeted online ads, all set to booty-shaking beats and catchy choruses. The band stewed up their soulful bangers after just two rehearsals and recorded seven songs live over a single weekend aboard Lightship95, a floating recording studio moored in East London. If you listen carefully, you can hear the boat rocking.
